Our birds are important to us and we try to keep them flying safely. All releases must take place before sunset. The birds cannot fly inside of buildings. We try to avoid foul weather and any cancellations due to weather are fully refunded. We do not ship birds by mail for self-release.

Note: NWDRS members consider the release of Ringneck doves unethical and immoral. Ringneck doves, readily available from pet stores and bird merchants, are not strong fliers, have no homing ability, and have no life experiences that would help them survive if released to the wild. Instead we use the White Homing Pigeon, a close relative and member of the Dove Family.
We will refund any payments for Inclemnet weather!

We will not release White Rock Doves inside any building!

We will not release White Rock Doves less than two hours before sunset!      CLICK FOR SUNSET INFORMATION.
